Feedback courtesy of Steve Camber:

Running Windows XP SP2, dual core E5200, 2 gig ram, went for the default resolution of my monitor 1280x1024.

Just tried 800x600 and it worked fine!

Except for when I kicked the ball up to the attacker and a strange message said "Offside"

Looking good though, I personally find the camera could do with some smoothing, it seems to flick about too much for me.

Good work!

Feedback courtesy of Abyss (moderator on KO-gathering):

Runs well on my humble office PC here at 1024x768x32, while running a ton of apps in the background - I didn't know Java was capable at doing this.

I have to point out two things I didn't like:

a) The scrolling when the player having the ball changes direction - it's very sudden and jerky, even though the game moves very smoothly.
b) The very high ball friction, not allowing the ball to roll on the field naturally.

The presentation is overally very good and feature-rich; the gameplay is on to something good, but needs tweaking in things like shot strength, height etc. I would also have liked for lpayer to have more noticeable "mass".

Anyway, this is the result of playing two games in difficulty level 3, so it's of course very hasty.

Feedback courtesy of Xifio over at Soccer Gaming:

played the beta version demo ... was some good, old-school fun ...

I liked the fact that it came with a team and formation editor, which I put to use immediately ...

I played a couple of matches with Inter against Barcelona ... this was my best result playing on 3 star difficulty ...

one glitch I seem to have is: as soon as I kick-off, the guy receiving the ball immediately puts the ball out of touch to the right of screen ... it is not that i am hold the spacebar ("action button") too long -- I tried holding it longer, and then just lightly tapping it, but it happens every time, without fail ...

and also, it recognizes that i have a controller (XBox 360 for PC) plugged in, but i am not able to use it ... i guess it is not compatible with the game? anyway, it is not a big deal because the controls are easy enough that i don't mind using the keyboard ...

other than that, it is, like I said, some good, old-fashioned fun ...

Feedback courtesy of Bulfin over at The Dugout:

Played three games on this so far, it's stupidly addictive. A couple of things I noticed:

- Sometimes it's a bit ltae responding at kick-off so I tap space bar twice, this leads to me kicking it off and booting it out automatically. Easily avoidable but annoying if I forget.
- My players sometimes kick it out for a throw in when I'm near the line without me pressing space bar, it's extremely rare though.

I'm shit at penalties but I think my timing's just off - I put two wide in the same match. :D

At its best this is stupidly addictive and brilliant. At its worst it is as frustrating as hell. This only makes it more addictive (in a way) as you are determined to improve.

Very good game.
